The Hopi Mission School is a small, private Christian elementary school affiliated with Transformation Ministries, Mennonite Church USA and American Baptist Churches USA. The school is located on the Hopi Reservation in northeastern Arizona. Due to the small class sizes, the students are given individual attention and additional opportunities. Today the Hopi Mission School has blossomed into a vibrant K-8 school. Students are provided with a rich education in reading, writing, math, hands-on science, music, art, physical and computer education from a Christian perspective. In addition, the students learn about their own culture and language in a Christian setting where diversity is respected.
West Lakewood Baptist Church conducts yearly drives for backpacks and other school supplies to donate to the Hopi Mission School. For more information about the school and what they do, please visit their website.
